Question about websites market

Hello everyone,
I read this forum for some time and noticed that lot of people saying that websites are like real estate just in internet.

In topics i saw that forum members offering to buy a website, to have it for some time and sell it later.
I am looking where to invest free money i have. The problem is that i have no experience in it. Good thing is that I really want to learn something new and try to invest in websites

What skills and knowledge should i get?
