Hello there,

I have something that is unclear to me.

Lets say i have a website with 10 high quality seo articles that are ranking at some position at google.

Now if i publish some low quality articles for different keywords, will that low quality articles decrease the rank of the previous articles which are ranked for different keywords or they not???

Is there any connection ?

Hard to place advice on something as ambiguous as "low quality articles" since the keyword density
or readability could be dreadful. It also depends on what type of website you are running. On my money
sites I never settle for bad articles.

Low quality articles will reduce your overall website performance, I guess! Let's wait for experts answer!

They won't affect your website immediately, but in the long run they will and you might get hit by a Panda penalty in the future. If you want your site to last in the SERPs, keep publishing high quality content.

But can they decrease my actual rankings on other keywords right now???

If you want to get ranked well & drive traffic to your site don't use low quality articles. Just focus only on publishing high quality articles. Spending $5 for quality articles is a good investment to bank later.

if you are looking for short term, immediate effect would be negligible...but yes few weeks down the line, it can hamper your SERP, its not advisable to compromise in such aspect when you have already taken efforts and invested in quality articles.

No there is no connection, but you should maintain quality of your blog.

Why should you do low quality? G always likes Good Quality, Sure low quality Article will affect your reputation

Well, i meant to have both high quality and low quality articles on my website.

The high quality ones to be ranked, and the low quality to stregnten the website.

I mean hand written articles with poor writing skills. But still 100% unique and human readable.

Where do you intend to order the articles from? The source matters a lot in determining whether the articles will jeopardise your site or not. For example, 2-star articles from Text Broker won't, but standard articles from iWriter surely will.

Why not just keep all of your content high-quality? This is what I'd do if I was looking to add weight to a site.

well ,I thing you know that content is playing major role.... low quality content will not affect your site immediately.....when you come to ranking it is very hard to get ranked....only the unique article will bring the good traffic to your site... so I suggest you to don't go with low quality article....
