I had a web page get hit by crazy backlinks and not my domain. It looks like negative SEO but has not worked yet. When google finally sees this, will my entire domain suffer because someone added tons of direct match keyword backlinks to a single page on the site?

Nah, there are people that make a living from backlinking to nearly every domain on the web, to expose their backlink site, name and service. They will link regardless. Every week I have links come and go like this.

Google's pretty good at ignoring obvious spam blasts, so a single page getting hit with junk backlinks usually won't drag down your whole domain. Just monitor it in Search Console, disavow if needed and you should be safe from any long-term impact.

Google won’t penalize your entire site for spammy backlinks you did not build. If one page is targeted with negative SEO, Google generally filters out those bad links on its own. As long as your overall backlink profile is clean, your domain stays safe. If you want extra protection, you can disavow the links.
