question about web-traffic using proxies

I can program in visual basic. If I make something that visits a bunch of free proxy sites and grabs all the free proxies, then visits a specified URL using those proxies. Would the visits from proxies add to my site's web-traffic or do proxies not count as legitamate unique visits?? Sorry if this doesn't make sense, I'm usin my blackberry to post this

Yeah they would show up as legit traffic, lots of people use proxies to access the internet from work/school/crappy internet providers.. You will probably leave lots of footprints though if you are planning on doing anything dodgy (all same browser headers, referrer, all at the same time etc)

are visits through proxies bad for my ads or what?? will they see that the visits are fake or somethin??

I guess they will see it as true visitors coming from different computers but i don't much prefer it because it's like a fake traffic.I always want a true visitors that really view my page.
