Question about watch time

I found an old channel I had it has 4k subs and 1.2k watch time atm. I applied for monetization when it was 12k watch time and 2k subs but since the video I had that went viral was music that was not my own I was rejected. I am looking to try and get this channel monetized but I will be uploading my own content. Will I still get rejected if i still have the viral video since that is whats giving me the watch time? Or should I just make it private and try to get more watch time. Also do you guys have any suggestions on where to get watch time? Ive looked in the marketpace and I've only found 2 dfferent providers, which do you recommend.

You can't claim monetization with a copyrighted content!

Nope, you won't be monetized. Even if you make it private, you need to have PUBLIC 4k hours watchtime.

Actually, the watch hours must be on a public video not private. So, if you make it private,there won't be any difference as the content itself is not elgible
