I am looking to rank a video for 2 potential clients that are looking to spend quite a bit of money for SEO services as sort of a case study for them.

My question is what video site would be recommended for this? At the moment I am going with metacafe as I have read it indexes the fastest and has the highest authority.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I use all the sites to submit my client videos but there is no doubt for me that YT is hands down the fastest way to rank. Depending on KW my videos are page 1 quickly a huge percentage of the time.

I closed two attorneys recently by ranking an animoto video (yes I know not the best) to page 1 for city kw in less than 12 hours. That's all they needed to see from me to sign up. Yes the video is still there and yes they get traffic from it.....

Hope it all works out for you....

Go with Youtube, set up a custom channel URL with the keyword in it, drive 1k views to it using something like viewet, a few social bookmarks, name the actual file you will upload your keyword, optimize your description, submit the channel rss feed to aggregators and post a few comments on similar subject vids that have a high pagerank and you can crush it for almost any keyword :-)

Of course YouTube, but Vimeo and DailyMotion rank well too. Ranking videos really is very easy, but 99% of it is in what you do in the video description.

Youtube the best place to share your video views, likes and comments will help you rank your video :)
