I have just started my first project with video post robot and its just sitting on 0% progress for all video sites. Any clues?

I also thought I read it posted to 20+ video sites, I only see 5 or 6 as an option.

Skip the first part.. that was my fault. The videos were way too big

buzzkill, if you explain what your trying to do other than load up 20 videos l'll see if l can help you out.

No problems anymore, as I said above the issue was that the files were too big. My own fault. I see that myspace is on the ball, and killed one for copywrite violations within 2 minutes of it being uploaded.

I also see where I went wrong about the limited amount of video posting sites, I was going too fast. I would have just deleted the post if I was able.

Noob move.. everyone is entitled to a few

BuzzKill, yeah thanks for classifying that n00b is actions not people, I made a HUGE n00b move with PRSTORM.

Nobody's perfect, and if there is a piece of software that can bite you in the ass, its PRStorm.

I am still having some issues with this video posting thing tho.

I am running the videos through Total video converter then through watermark factory then back up with video post robot.

THe problem is that Total vid converter offers 30 different formats to save the video. I tried mpeg, then watermarked them and they looked great but were HUGE..

So I tried the optimize video button in post robot, that converts them to mp4, but when i upload them, the format isnt recognized by the video site.

I then went back and saw that the watermark factory was saving them as AVI's so I switched that to MPEG, and the quality sucks and they are still big.

I am looking for the proper settings from start to finish. Anyone using the same software that has worked this out?

I would like to add that video post robot works like a charm. Highly recommended so far

Maybe I am looking at this all wrong. I am trying to get a 3 min music video to be about 10 megs, maybe this is too small and it should be around 27megs.

In Total Video Converter save as MPEG, then in Video Watermark Factory save as WMV. That should get the size down a lot. Depending on the quality of the video it still might be too big for your needs.

hey, i hope this help;

1) use video*-get to extract url. it will auto convert to mpg.
2) then use waterm**k factory. output is WMV. i tried avi and it inflated the video to over 100GB. so no avi. for myself, it takes quite some time to generate. half day for 2/3 movies. maybe need a better machine.
3) the only thing i dun have is video p**t rob*t. if there any kind soul, i appreciate it. i heard from xxmen that yout**egen**ius is better. i had it installed but havent used it. currently manual uploading it.

started a week ago. still no dough.

appreciate if someone could list me a good ringtone aff. one that can used internationally.

50 cents worth. God Bless.

Ill try it. Its fine from youtube to total video converter but them watermark factory seems to really screw it up.

Hey Buzz,
I was just looking at that program today.
I do not have any experience with it or marketing with videos, sry really can't help. But, Good luck and keep us updated on your progress. I am strongly considering trying something like that or a bot of some type, so I was interested in this thread. Look forward to hear how you do, seems like a new project for you as it will be for me if I decide to take it on.
thanks,

I also got video post robot and also have problems. I have experimented with uploading with mpeg, mov and wmv. Problem with mpeg is about 2/3 rds of the networks can't recognize that format. For my first video I am just trying to upload to youtube to see what happens and if it looks good I will do the rest of the networks.

Somewhere in the instructions it says the formatting option which is compatable with all networks are avi, mov and wmv. Because avi gets so big I don't think is a viable option. I tried wmv and looked good and had a small file size but for some reason no sound came through. The optimizing video option in video post robot did not work for me well. Now I am uploading with mov which is bigger but hopefully will load the sound on youtube.

Ugggggggggggggh, hopefully I get this figured out by tomorrow so I can start loading on a large scale.

I will fill you in. I am determined to make it work since I actually paid for video post robot. The other stuff was either free or I got it from a torrent I dont remember.

Tube Hunter which is posted here somewhere also automatically converts the video to any format you want, including WMV.

Also Windows Movie Maker in Start>All Program>Accessories>Windows Movie Maker is good if you also want to add an intro and outro. I do that when I have spare time for some videos but not on all.

they said MPEG4 (even youtube's help said that). but, I have tested with the quality and so far, FLV version 8 is the best.

I've test it on youtube & metacafe....

I shut down last night after uploading .mov to youtube. This morning I see it on youtube and doesn't look that great and the file is big--70mb. The one good thing is it is playing smooth. But I worry about the size for the smaller networks and how it will play there.

I don't have that much time to play (aka get totally frustrated) with this today. But I really do appreciate all these reports and hopefully, jointly we can figure which formatting will work best for uploading.

Ok.. Works like a charm. Viper's instructions were perfect. Videos are up, look great, and as of this morning are still up.

The trick is to save them as wmv files, the sizes are about 12-15 megs which was the neighborhood I was looking for. The setting on watermark factory is WMV 9 for local network 768k.

I did not have luck with the optimize button on video post robot, the videos were being rejected for bad format.

Thanks viper. Rep +

hey buzz. excellent. not many posts gets a rep. danke. 8 more to go...

i suppose i skip on vpostrobot since everyone is having issues.
