question about video in blog

hi everyone... my question is this.. while i know how to add video to my blog via plugins, widgets, and youtube, etc.. i was wondering how do i make the video look like this? w*w*w* hectorjcuevas d*o*t* c*o*m* his video is rectangular and when u click on it it doesnt take u to youtube.. can someone please explain that.. thanks.. =)
