Question about vcc's for ebay

Ive just purchased an ebay vcc and went to open a sellers account. However after filling in the credit card details it then said I need to confirm my identity by phone. How do I get round this? Im new to vccs.

ebay can recognised vcc card..

Just use a virtual phone number, it is an automated call, you have to press the number they specify when you answer & then it tells you the code. It is no big deal.

What I don't understand is the purpose of using a vcc on ebay. If you just link a paypal account to your ebay account before creating the seller account, it just links to your paypal & you don't need a vcc.
