Question about using tinyurl to CPA offer

I want to use tinyurl to shorten the URL to the CPA offer. I've talked to my AM and he said that it was okay if the desination url was the URL of the cpa offer.

So I take it as okay, but just thought that with tinyurl computers wouldn't read the full url, only read the tinyurl - result in me missing leads as traffic I generate is not tracked. In my mind it should work to use tinyurl and the traffic will be tracked, I ask just in case there something I'm not aware of

Test it. Clear your cookies and go to that tinyurl link. See if it drops a cookie. If it did then it works..

Yes this should work, it has worked for me in the past.
Another way I do it is buy a domain from G0d@ddy, and redirect that to your CPA offer. No hosting needed, and then rather than your customers seeing a tinyurl, they will see a "normal URL" and that triggers a comfort response, where as seeing a URL that if formatted differently or "looks weird" will trigger a response of caution.

I have done some split testing, and the domain name redirect was the most successful out of the 2.

It definitely works with tinyurl. Cookies will be set.
