This may sound like a dumb question but does it matter if potatso loses connection when I am NOT on the tiktok app? Could tiktok see my real ip when I’m not using it? I also use a sim card with phone no. from the country I am targeting and 4g mobile proxy. I have to go into hospital for surgery in a couple of weeks and already know that the hospital wifi there is garbage so can see problems trying to maintain connection and run a proxy. Any advice would be great.

If Potatso loses connection while TikTok is running (even in the background), TikTok might detect your real IP. To be safe, you can try a proxy manager app or a backup 4G mobile hotspot to maintain a stable connection, especially during your hospital stay. Also, ensure Potatso has a reconnect option or auto-resume feature to minimize disconnections.
Is it worth me turning off background app refresh in settings. Also can you recommend a proxy manager app? I am on ios. Thank you.

Tiktok is always running hidden in our phones. If you want to use wifi and don't want to affect tiktok, you should access the device's application and force the software to stop working before using wifi.
Will it send data if I log out of the tiktok app?
