Question About Upload Consistency On YT

Hey guys,

I've been uploading consistently 2 videos/day on one of my YT channels for over two months now - with no "breaks" or "deviations" from my upload schedule. I'm starting to see some traction finally, thankfully.

Now the question is: is the algorithm going to "punish" me or "reset" the channel after a delayed upload? I have published one of my two videos with a short delay today - just a few minutes (6:03 pm instead of 6:00 pm - the usual time). So far I've been publishing videos at 6 pm - every single day. Since I heard the algorithm rewards consistency and following a fixed upload schedule and/or "punishes" for inconsistency, longer breaks, I am worried, that the algo is going to "reset" for me, so that it's like I have to start counting from zero uploads to begin a new recommendation cycle.

Any thougths?

regards

No one knows for a fact. But there is no way that algorithm is that dumb, punishing publishers because of something like that makes no sense, especially for a profit hungry company such as google. The better your videos perform, the more traction will future videos get very likely. It has nothing to do with posting every single day. That worked for shorts at the start for sure, but not anymore.

I would thing stop uploading for 3 or 5 days not 3 minutes consistency is more related to always upload videos, 1 or 2 per day, maybe you are refering to be consistent uploading at the same "schedule" every day and I quote schedule because both are different but still have a different impact, since people get use to get your videos a certain time of the day and could be when they are at home first video they see in the morning or at night after a long day before going to sleep or at noon any where in the world.
