Question about transferring from Namecheap to another registrar

I have only one domain there and am thinking about transferring to internet bs as they are much cheaper.

Is it easy to leave name cheap without incurring any cost or is it just a matter of closing the account and then transferring or vice versa.. Not sure how it all works.

Not dealt with namescheap, should be pretty straight forward though - they should have their procedure detailed somewhere..?

I believe it's free, but you should contact their customers support for more info

Should be easy if you follow the steps offered. And unlock your namecheap domain when requested by the new register and verify a few things via the whois email...
