As an American company, how do I create an advertising account outside the -3 +8 US time zone and in US dollars?IMAGE 2025-10-30 17:34:25.jpg

Google Ads permit you to select the account's currency US dollar and preferred time zone during setup, but both settings are permanent and cannot be changed later

Thank you, but why can't I select a time zone other than the US? For example, if I select Brazil's time zone -3, I need to provide proof of Brazilian citizenship. I'm confused.

Google Ads uses the time zone set in your account. If you're targeting multiple regions, be sure to adjust your campaign schedules accordingly to match local peak hours for better performance.

When creating a Google Ads account, you choose your currency and time zone, but once set, these options can’t be modified later.
Thank you. I have a US IP address and a US company information. It seems I can only select the US time zone and cannot select a time zone outside the US.

Use a VPN only during setup if you need to trigger another region's default time zone, then select USD manually.

Thank you, but I still have a question. I already have an MCC (US) and I'm applying for a new advertising account within it. If I want to choose the +8 time zone, do I just need to switch my VPN to UTC+8? Normally, when I choose UTC+8, the system asks me to fill in new information, such as a street address in Hong Kong and my personal ID. I don't have these. What should I do?
