Question about these domain names.

Alright, so I'm extremely confused at the moment. I'm trying to decide on both domain name and blogging platform. I'm really leaning towards Tumblr at the moment, because in my personal opinion, I believe that the end of spamming backlinks is among us, and that Tumblr will eventually hold its own weight (with the Panda update and whatnot).

The other problem, is choosing my domain name. Now, I plan to get back into the writing groove. What I'll be doing, is basically re-writing other SEO related articles in easy to understand terms (because lets face it, most cannot write clearly). I guess you could say I'll be an SEO expert *rolls eyes*. Anyways, do I need to have SEO in my URL? For example: SEO[N-inja], SEO[Warrior], SEO[Noob], etc. Or can I just use AllieAlbatross[.com] as my URL? Does it really make any difference? If using the SEO one is best, what would go on AllieAlbatross[.com]? :/

Another question (just trying to save some server space ^-^), many people hate on Tumblr because of the "reblog" feature, that shows duplicate content in Googles eyes. Well, wouldn't the "rel="author"" fix that? Regardless of how many people duplicate my content, wouldn't mine be the origin of it? :3

Yes, it is not necessary to have a keyword in the domain name, but having it would increase the possibilities of ranking your website higher. Secondly, ranking higher in search engines doesn't just rely on the domain name factor. There are many other factors which needs to be considered.

Why not just append SEO to the Alliealbatross.com domain name ?

Well to start, that domain name has already been registered. Also, I'd like to separate my niche, from my personal rants (I seem to be full of them). Hope that clarifies! :3

If you're trying to separate the personal aspect I'd suggest dropping the name.
