Question about the bodybuilding niche

I have a great website I'm going to set up as part of the bodybuilding and fitness niche. It will contain workout guides, nutrition information, and lots of reference material.

I will also have reviews of popular equipment and products.

What kind of CPC can I expect for Google AdSense? I've heard that the publishers on the content network get much less than what the advertisers bid on the search network. Do those same rules of CPC still apply? Like, bodybuilding will still generate more per click than animals or recipes.

There are hundreds of affiliate programs, whether physical or digital for bodybuilding, using Adsense or any other kind of ads would be a waste of money. Any affiliate program would be XY times more profitable than adsense.
