Question about TDNAM scraper

I'm using the TDNAM scraper from scrapebox for finding aged domains with PR.
When I've got a list I check them for real PR. There are many PR2-3-4 domains with real PR but 0 backlinks.
How is this possible? And will the PR remain when I buy them?
