Question about SVG metadata?

I am very new to SEO so you might have to bare with me, while creating SVG icons for my website in inkscape I noticed a metadata tab :



Is there any benefit with regard to the increased file size to add metadata into the svg? I looked online but there seems to be little info.

this makes me think that google may not even look into SVG metadata? as for why there isn't much information regarding this

does anyone have experience with this and if so what fields should I fill out and how would I avoid keyword stuffing in the keyword section.
