If I disguise the link ie:"xxx(dot)com" will it hurt my ranks in search engines? What about "xxx . com"(with spaces)?
 
not using anchors at all, it's just for direct traffic.

I don't think you will get a lot of conversion because people aren't likely to go through the effort to alter the URLs.

I'm not asking about that, I'm asking about the possible search engines repercusions.
 
I don't think that would be a very effective method at all. An incompletely typed out domain wouldn't attract google to even bother indexing it. Just my humble opinion. :)

Actually, I don't want Google to know that the disguised link is related to my website.

I don't think the link juice would transfer through with that sort of a link, it has to be clickable. Other way to disguise it would be to do it through a 301 or through a link shortener like bitly.
