    Hello first of all
I have a plan to build an authority website(not second forbes ofc) and right now I am just growind my social media accounts which I will use for driving traffic
Right now I am building Tumblr,Pinterest and Twitter accounts and that is where I have a question
Can an experienced user say how good are these social media sites for driving traffic?
Let's say I have 50 000 followers on tumblr,50000 on pinterest and 50000 on twitter and I'll start to promote my site, how many visits will I get? On average of course
Let's say all followers are niche targeted

Well, personaly, I find twitter traffic more easy to monetize, but i use mainly twitter, so ...

For Tumblr, I can't monetize it, but it must be because I'm bad with it. Just one thing: if you go the tumblr way, be ready for bans. Tumblr bans, even if you are legit, even if you respect rules, tumblr will ban you. Don't try to know why, because you won't know.

Pinterest, I can't really help you. I just read there and there that it can bring you good traffic.

I have heard the same thing about tumblr too but did not know the situation was so bad
Right now my tumblr account has the most followers.
I think I'll start a facebook page too,but it will be harder than other sites where follow/unfollow works, any suggestions for that by the way?

The rule is a penny per follower per year (as per standard activity.)

20-150 hits per 10,000 followers a day to Fansites.. Keep in mind there are numerous other monetization means, especially with the diversity you mentioned.

Nobody can tell you how much traffic you can bring with X amount of followers on Y social network, because there are many other factors at play. Like what is the quality of the followers and how did you get them. Are they fans of what you do, are they engaging with your accounts on regular basis, were they mislead to follow you, where did you scrape them from to follow/unfollow them and so on. Sometimes it's just luck, two very similar profiles will get a similar number of fans in a very similar way, but one profile will be bringing traffic and the other will not be. Sometimes the people that follow you will stop using the platform and you will have no way of reaching them for instance.

Then you have the quality of the things your account posts. If your account posts interesting stuff that makes sense and your followers like, they will trust you more and they will be looking for what you're posting and it will be much easier to get traffic and the account will have much higher engagement.

And the last but not least, it's very important what you're trying to drive traffic to (and how). If the content/offer/product you are promoting is something that your followers would be interested in and/or would be useful to them, they would be much more likely to follow your link. What you're sending traffic to needs to fit the profile that's promoting it.

So when dealing with followers and number of followers, don't forget that you are talking about 50,000 individuals, not computers. So what you're building and posting needs to be directed at the people, not at their accounts.

TL;DR: A profile with 10,000 followers grown properly and used properly could be bringing in more traffic than a 50,000 follower account that is not managed very well. So nobody can answer your question except the experiment of you doing it and seeing your results.

Just to piggy back on what others have said, it's important to understand how different users interact with the site. For example, visitors from Facebook will respond to your site differently than someone coming from Organic Search or Twitter.

At Ezoic we work with thousands of sites and our platform uses automated testing to determine which ad combinations work best depending on user interaction with the site (which country, time of day, traffic source etc.).

I would suggest that in addition to growing your social media followers, you take note of how the ads are setup on your site to determine the best possible ad setup to maximize revenues!

This is what I completely agree. Nevertheless, twitter is very good for that.

Again, it really all depends on your niche and how it lends itself to a certain social network. I'd also have a look around to see if there are any niche forums that match your content and see if there are relevant sub-reddits. Reddit is great traffic that can be hard to monetize but it's really all about creating an audience that can be easily defined. Then you just need to match content and monetization channels and you should be good.

I have seen some journey threads on BHW about using social media +adsense and pretty much most of them quitted before earnig any decent money, but there also are some succesful journeys and that's motivational.

My followers on Tumblr and Pinterest are niche targeted as I can say
About Twitter,I may replace it with Instagram. It's growing very slowly
Some questions, any thoughts about Instagram traffic? Is this social media site good for it?
And I have 1 account and 1 blog on all this social media sites and I try to grow them, not tens of the blogs like in some journey threads on BHW,is this good or bad?
