Question about site refer

Hello guys,

One of my affiliate networks dis-approved all of my leads genereated to a speceific offer because the traffic source was against the advertiser its terms and conditions.
Long story short, I add my website as the media, got approved. Then promoted their offers through facebook. Created a 301/302 redirect.. so everything from: www.mydomain.com/offer was redirect to the offer.

The problem how ever was; they dis-approved the leads because the refere was: m.facebook.com
which wasn't the media I got approved on.

Im farly new to affiliate marketing. Could someone tell me how to get the refer right? At this moment I disabled the redirect and put a single button on the page that says: "click here to go to offer". So instead of a straight redirect they have to click again. Is this a good way or are there any better ways?

Instead of a 301/302 redirect, create an html redirect that lasts about 2 seconds and redirects to the offer automatically. This will make the referrer show as yourdomain.com/offer

If you want to totally blank the referrer, first do a meta refresh then check to make sure it's gone..

Send traffic to a page with this in it...

<meta http-equiv=\"refresh\" content=\"0;url=redirect.php\">

Then in redirect.php you put this..

<?php
$referer = $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'];
if($referer == "")
{
echo "<meta http-equiv=\"refresh\" content=\"0;url=http://affiliatelink.com\">";
}
?>

Thanks for your reply. I dont want to blank the referer, just want to change it to the media I got approved on with the advertiser.
So Im promoting an offer on Facebook, but the referer must be: www.mydomain.com/offer , so they think its legit and all the traffic is coming from that page (but instead it comes directly from facebook).

No problem. You can check by going on Facebook and clicking your link; if it shows your site first and then goes to the offer, then that means you're doing it right. It will then show the affiliate people that the users are coming from YOUR WEBSITE and not directly from Facebook.
