Question about site flipping

Hi I was wondering what exactly are you doing when you are flipping a site? By "site" does it mean you buy a company and their product? I'm confused as why someone would buy a website with nothing on it? Are you just selling a domain?

Domain Flipping = Buying a Domain Name that you think has the potential to be sold at a higher price than you paid for it.

Site Flipping = Building up a site that has the potential for growth or buying a ready made site that is already earning money with the intention of selling for a profit.

So with site flipping it can only be like a blog? You cannot be selling a physical service because it is not a company? Also with the domain all it is is what it is called like cooldomain.com and has nothing to do with what its seo is?

Yes it can be an online company/business that sells physical products. e-commerce sites, blogs, any type of site can be flipped.

A business like what you explained you get the domain the website and any stock with that business , your also properly get the ltd cert of business, and bank info.

Seo will not come with the domain name ,but will come with my other two examples.

Seo is a optimisation on page terminology and used in conjunction with html.
