Question about Shopify

I'm building my first store with shopify but I don't understand how to build a second store targeting another niche with different products.
Doing a google research I read I have to make another account. But with another account I have to pay other 27$/month right? So I have to pay 54$/month for 2 store? Is this correct?
If is it, I must say it's really expensive for a newbie that just want to make the first sales...

You can create a single general store and sell every niche you want for a single subscription

You can have only one store in Shopify. If you want another you will have to pay for another.

What you can do, however, is create a more general store and niche out the categories.
