I recently tried WaybackMachineDownloader for the first time.
It’s relatively cheap when restoring sites as HTML,
but it charges an additional $100 if you want the site converted to WordPress.
While looking for alternatives, I found another service called Archivarix.
From what I can see, it doesn’t seem to have a direct option to convert a site into WordPress format —
but maybe I missed something?
Since I don’t know how to work with HTML and only use WordPress,
I’m wondering if there’s a way (or another service) that can restore archived sites directly into WordPress instead of just HTML files.
Any advice or recommendations from people who’ve tried both would be greatly appreciated.

Archivarix is great for clean HTML restores, but for direct WordPress imports, tools like WP Importer or Wayback Rebuilder work better — they convert structure, not just pages.
 
You can create a small automation with AI (openai or deepseek) but I think it might cost you a few $ to use their api.

Archivarix only restores sites as HTML, not directly into WordPress. If you are not familiar with HTML, you can use tools like HTTrack with WP All Import or get a freelancer to handle the conversion. Otherwise, the WordPress option from WaybackMachineDownloader is the easiest, ready to use solution.
 
Most of those restore to WordPress tools sound cool until you realize how many footprints they leave behind.
They reuse identical WP themes, folder structures, meta generators, even timestamps and Google’s pattern systems pick that up faster than people think.
Archivarix is fine for grabbing clean HTML, but I’d never import it directly into WordPress without a middle layer.
 
I get what you mean! WaybackMachineDownloader adds extra cost for WordPress, and Archivarix mostly gives HTML files. You can try importing HTML into WordPress using free plugins or hire someone to convert it easily.
