    Hi there,

I use Traffic Travis to do SEO analysis for my website that is on 2nd page of google right now for my target keyword.

It shows that my site doesn't have H1 Tag.

    I don't know what H1 Tag is.

I use wordpress for my website. I'm thinking if I have H1 Tag, my website might be moved up to 1st page of google.

Anyone can tell me how to set up H1 Tag for my wordpress site.

    Thanks,

One of the first considerations when choosing a WP theme is its SEO capabilities. In this case it would appear the H1 tag is being used elsewhere and not appended to the title tag (bad SEO...).

Firstly check view source of your home page and do a search for the '<h1>' tag and find out where it is being used (if at all). You will then need to edit your theme files to input the tag into the title whilst deleting the existing reference if it is present.

If this sounds daunting then you may consider choosing another theme which already has the H1 tag installed in the correct location (post title).

    I use socretes theme.
I think it is one of the best wp theme so far.
Don't know why there is no H1 tag.
    That is too bad.

I use SEOPressor plugin to analyze or tell me if my content is optimized with H1, H2, H3 tags. Very handy and I use it everyday.
