Question about Scrapebox

Hey guys, i brought Scrapebox yesterday, i am very newbie to SEO. My question is: Is ok the Start Harvestering without proxies? The reason why i ask is because when I choose to use the proxies, the program is not hasvertering anything.

Not recommended. Get some premium proxies and you'll be good.

Sure, but you just have to go very very slow. Proxies let you go faster, thats all they do. Its all about speed with the search engines.

So if you do too many requests in too short of a time period they temporarily ban your IP. The ban is usually lifted in 12 to 48 hours, with no real harm done, generally speaking.

So you could try the detailed harvester and set a delay of 600 to start and see how that goes for you.

Public proxies are ok for scraping, if you can find ones that work, but many people use them so they die ultra fast, like they can die quicker then the time it takes you to read this post. Plus finding google passed public proxies is very very challenging. A few private/shared private proxies, with a delay can help.
