Question about sales pages ???

Hi Guys

I am in the process of creating a new landing page for my home improvement based service . Doing lots of research to make it as good as possible.

My auestion is this

any products sold in here or other IM sites have really fancy heavy graphic based sales pitches. I like these and they give a professional feel if done well . This isnt something you see a lot of outside this space . Is there a reason for this . Has this been tested on any other nicbes etc.

any info / views opinions welcome

It depends a lot on the market area you target. Fancy graphics appeal a lot more to the tech savvy crowd because it gives an impression of knowledge and caring about web presence. But a less tech-savvy user might respond better to a plainer sales page. A real​ copywriter will be able to give you a solid base to start from, and after that's it's mostly split testing to find what works best.

I see what you are saying.

I personally am selling a product to techsavy people, so I got a nice landing page from themeforest. I agree with the above post that if you are selling to regular people, it is not as important.
