Question about RSS feed

I added a rss feed from another site to my niche site, now how does this affect my SEO ranking. Does it do anything at all? Will it be copyright infringement?

Does the other site belong to you? If yes, followers who subscribe to your niche site might get incorrect posts and would start to unsubscribe gradually. If the other site does not belong to you, I wonder why would you promote someone's posts on your website?

It does not belong to me, this is just a web 2.0 thats I created to help rank other sites, so does it still matter? And so I guess the answer would be no it does not help the ranking of that site because it is linked to another site right?
