Hello All,

I have an article directory and am trying to build quality backlinks to it. My question is, if I submit articles to other article directory, would they be consider relevant quality backlinks from similar content media or just another backlink as coming from web directory?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Why are you building quality links to an article directory?

You should also consider having quality content on your website if you want to further improve your PR.

Content is not the problem. I have good content on my site. My question is getting links from articles in other article directories which has high PR, would it help? would be considered as relevant high quality backlinks?

Of course it would help. The trick is to see how much it helps and if it's worth the effort you're spending. Bottom line return on investment and time = D

I've seen good results from article directories and have seen both PR and serp increases from doing so. Depending on the service you are using you should be able to select categories that will help you get a few more relevant links to your site. Not all article directories will be relevant to your site, but a good chunk of them should be, and the other links from non-relevant sites will still help, just not nearly as much.

I'm most familiar with unique article wizard for my submissions and it gives you tier 1, 2, and 3 categories to really help drill down the types of sites that you are sending your articles to, which greatly helps your relevancy.
