I was hoping someone can help me out. Lets say for example, I have a page about ford cars. I have a few categories like maintenance tips, driving tips, etc. Lets say I also have a bunch of keywords about ford dealers in NY, for dealers in CA, or best ford dealers in Ohio. You get my drift. What kind of content would be best for such pages? Should i create a category for ford dealers and give each keyword its own page? I can't figure out what kind of content would be good for those pages. thanks in advance

You can get some articles written about ford dealers and add the keywords for each city in each page. Make sure the articles are unique. Do on-page SEO and keep one keyword per page for every city.

Wouldn't that be a bunch of repetitive articles. How much could I write
about ford dealers in certain cities? What would be good to cover? I
didn't want to go as far as research every dealer for every state and list them on the pages. that would seem like an endless task. so just write a generic article that i can rewrite and where i can just swap out the keyword each time? Any tips what could write about? I really hit a brick wall here. lol

Yes, best way out would be to create a different page each for NY, CA and Ohio containing the keywords you want to target and market each page through off page factors (post content on social networking sites, forum posting with forum signature, guest blogging etc..)

You may also go in for different sub domains and ensure you include city keywords in the title, content, description of each page organically.
