Question about Referer's

So I used to use adsense and CJ on a good site of mine, made great money about 150 a day from adsense and 100 from CJ from a niche I was exploiting on CJ. Then after about a year, adsense banned my account saying that I couldnt use craigslist to promote my site and I was a danger to their publishers... balony! The niche I was targetting was highly targetted and the traffic was relevant.. The affiliate didnt cancel me but they said dont use craigslist anymore.

So this is what I wanted to do, I create a landing page with a simple logo and a link that says click here to enter the site.

So the chain looks like Craigslist.com -> Page 1 -> main site

Now when the visitor clicks the link on Page 1 to go to the main site, will the referer no longer show as craigslist to adsense and CJ? I wanna get back into business! I do not want to blank to referer as I feel this would lead to a ban as well... I would rather the referer show as coming from Page 1, that way if anyone asks I can just say I am using google adwords or something.

Have them e-mail from Craigslist.com then give them your site and you should be fine. If any eyebrows are raised tell them you did a e-mail marketing campaign, that's what I do. Never had a problem. More conversions that way then blanking a refer since your only limited to various browsers.

first of all, i dont know what you was doing but blanking your referer wether blackhat or not is a must unless you dont mind some sneaky aff manager nicking ur landing page and ideas!!

To do with referal, theres a few things you could do..

DMR with ur own hosting an domain, craiglist - dmr link - offer page ( blank referer )
use the scripts here that would fake your referer so its, craiglist -- dmr-- offer page ( fake referer listed) in the php files for the scripts you will have to link to the page you want ur aff managers to 'think' the traffics coming from! so a decent landing page or blog required!
this way you got a referer and your traffics hidden from whereever its coming from!

well adsense wouldnt have a problem if the referer was blank? I could easily blank the referer I was doing that on another craigslist gig I was doing, that was good. Im more concerned about adsense however.
