I just made a backlink to my website from a website with good authority, however the backlink redirects to my website in the form of site.com/externalRedirect/?url=mysite.com Does this type of link pass any linkjuice?

    Thanks

    If it's a 301 redirect yes, if it's a 302 then technically not.

You can check the type of redirect by installing the LiveHTTPHeaders extension for Firefox and clicking on teh link.

Thanks for the reply. Apparently it's a 303 redirect.

Another link to my website is a meta refresh redirect.

I'm still not sure whether these are worth anything. If Google at least follows them then at least they may count for ip diversity? :p
