question about re-registering expired web 2.0?

i know that blogspot needs 6 months to release the subdomain, for livejournal if you want to re-register subdomain that already existed you need to pay 15$, for tumblr if you found subdomains with 404 a lot of them are baned so you cant re-register them.

What about other web 2.0 properties like weebly, over-blog, wikidot or wordpress , is there also something how blogspot has that if you can't re-register subdomain that could mean that you are trying somewhere in that period of 6 months or it's banned like tumblr?

Overblogs and Weeblys can be re-registerd. And few others as well. No idea about the waiting period, but that's pointless. Just register what is available now and don't wait like a vulture. Better ways to spend your time.
