Question About Rankings

So here is an interesting I noticed and I just can’t understand how this site is ranking.

So there is a keyword I found, and this site is ranking position 4-6. The site is 1 year old and barely had any backlinks and has a rank of 30 Million on ahrefs.

Now the weird thing is, the other sites also ranking for this keyword have 100s of backlinks to that particular post and have ranks of 100k on ahrefs and they are all authority sites in the niches.

So my question is How?? I looked at content length, backlinks, social shares and a bunch of other stuff but I just can’t figure out how this site is ranking among giants like this. The site has a DR of 5.

Are there hidden backlinks? Is there a SEO factor I am not considering?

This atleast prove one point that google do not see third party website metrics to rank in their search engine; so make a note of this.
These metrics DA, TA, DR and all are just for your estimate and helps you in taking specific decision but this is not what google depends on

Oh boi this is gonna be tough then. I thought I found some really easy keywords because this site was ranking for it but after checking the SERP’s i realized i was wrong. The domain of this site has a spelling mistake in the domain too which makes it even more crazy!

Guess I gotta keep a sharp eye for these type of things.

Is there any possible way I could uncover a PBN? i guess it would take a lot of digging

I have 5 and a half months old gaming website with 230 referring domains. All links are pretty good 16/21 Majestic trust flow from 157 links found by Majestic. My links are far better than the links of my competitors but I am stuck on the first page on the positions from 6th to 9th for all main keywords. My competitors have less than 100 referring domains and very bad trust flow on majestic but their sites are 2-3 years old.

What do you think do I need more time for better positions? Any advice?

P.S I don't have blog comments, directory links, or Chinese links. All trust flow is gaming related. Most of my backlinks are contextual, but I also have profile links, web 2.0 for diversion. I also have built links to web 2.0 in order to make them a bit powerful.
