Question about proxies.

I am an event planner looking at various bots to use in order to gain exposure and promote my events. Right now I am interested in FollowLiker.

My question though before I jump out the window, is what are proxies and why are they used. I understand it has something to do with making sure your accounts don't get banned but that's as far as my knowledge goes. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

One of the ways to identify you in the Internet is your IP address, which is assigned to your computer by ISP through which you access the Internet.
To hide your real IP address - use a proxy. For example, in cases when you login different accounts on Facebook that Facebook don't understand that different logins use one and the same person.

it depends on what your using the proxies for. You said you want them for FollowLiker? there are alot of proxies that only work on instagram and not on twitter.

also how many accounts are you planning to use? If your only using follow liker with one account than you wont need proxies. Youll only need to use proxies when your using multi accounts

yeah I agree with provision.
whoever you go with, be very clear towards the seller on what you need, do not forget to contact the sellers and ask before buying.

In my opinion much better and cheaper to buy a VPS and additional IP and set up your own proxy server.
In this case, the price will be less than $ 1 per IP, and these proxy guaranteed you'll use only.
