Question about posts being de-index from Google

Hi everyone

So im having a problem, i created an automated video blog a month ago and in the beginning all was going well, and the posts got index fast, but now when checking the domain:

site: domain name

I noticed almost all the post has been di-indexed (removed from google serp)

I am using the automated plugin in wordpress and extracting youtube videos, does anyone have an idee on how i can fix this and get my posts back?

Yeah, Google probably flagged it as low-value or duplicate content. Automated blogs pulling from YouTube often run into that. Try adding original text, summaries, or commentary to each post to make them more unique. Also check for crawl errors in GSC and resubmit a few pages manually to test if they get reindexed.

That could be a bit hard since its importing like 50 videos per day =), but i did try to resubmit the sitemap, dident really work, guess i need to perhaps tweak the import youtube clips features, perhaps connect some Ai content that will automatically add text, what you think?
 
Posts can get de-indexed from Google if they have low-quality content, thin content, duplicate text, or violate Google's guidelines.

I don't think you'll succeed to be honest. Even I - despite of my big hatred towards google - would do what google does in this case :p

Think about it: you're just pulling someone else's video from YT and post it on the same page with many other videos, that's ZERO value added. Why would google keep such copy-paste content indexed when they de-index most (if not all) of other duplicate content? It makes no sense..

Besides, a page full of videos will not rank anywhere in google anyway, since this is not a thing. How many sites like this have you seen ranking?

I genuinely (and without wanting to offend you in any way, on the contrary, I'm trying to save you from working in vain) would drop this type of website altogether and stick with classic autoblogs if you absolutely must autoblog. At least we know for sure that content still ranks, so focus on walls of text instead of videoclips :)
 
Google probably de-indexed your posts because the content is seen as duplicate or low-quality. To fix it, you need to add unique content or commentary to your posts, improve your site’s quality, and submit a sitemap in Google Search Console. Also, avoid fully automated content without added value, Google doesn’t like that. Post valuable qualityful content, because Google like quality not quantity.

I get what you mean, but wouldent i face the same problem with a text autoblog in this case?, since its still not orginal content?, or would it make a diffrence if i auto blog from one language to another ?
 
yeah google prob caught on to the auto vibe or flagged it as low effort. mass deindex usually means thin content or duplicate stuff, especially if it’s just vids pulled from yt. might wanna slow the posting, add some real text, mix it up with custom stuff, and chill on the automation for a bit

yeah, you probably still wouldn't get indexed, but my point was that text ranks, videos don't. I mean, pages chock-full of videos and without anything else on them (like you're trying to make) don't rank, not single videos...

I am pretty sure that duplicate content is penalized in most languages, so I wouldn't do it. Just make unique content... or if you absolutely want to autoblog at least find a plugin / script that rewrites the content before it gets published. Check if Quilbot have a plugin for that, they used to be pretty good at rewriting content. Or use AI if there's no other option, even the garbage AI gives you better chances at ranking than copy-pasted content...

Happens when Google detects thin or duplicate content. Automated video blogs that just embed YouTube videos with little to no unique text get hit fast. Make sure your site has a clean sitemap and internal linking.

yeah this happens alot w/ autoblogs that just pull youtube vids. google usually deindex cuz it sees it as duplicate or low value. u gotta add some unique text or lil summaries to keep em indexed. pure automation wont last long.
 
Sounds like Google’s de-indexing it because of thin or duplicate content. Automated video blogs usually get hit with this sooner or later, especially if there’s not much unique text around the videos.


I’d try adding proper descriptions, maybe a few hundred words of original content per post, and see if that helps. Also, check Search Console for any manual actions or indexing issues.


If it’s purely auto-generated with no real value, Google’s probably flagging it. You might need to mix in some manual posts to build trust back.


Anyone else run into this and manage to recover?
 
Google probably de‑indexed due to duplicate or low‑quality content. Auto‑imported videos without original context can look spammy.

It sounds like Google flagged your site for thin or duplicate content. Auto-blogging, especially with scraped YouTube content, often gets de-indexed. Try adding unique descriptions, titles, and commentary to each post. Improve content quality, reduce automation, and submit a sitemap again in Search Console
 
Google tends to drop auto-generated video blogs because they add little beyond what’s already on YouTube. Indexing at first is normal, but once the quality systems run, thin/duplicate pages get filtered out. A 2025 Sistrix report showed 72% of autoblog-type sites lost >50% of indexed URLs within 90 days. To recover, you need to add real value—unique transcripts, comparisons, or editorial summaries around each video. Also, make sure internal linking isn’t shallow; orphaned posts are rarely reindexed. Submitting URLs in GSC can help test if the improved content sticks.
