Question about posting an item for sale

Hey,

I am planning to sell an item in the Items For Sale section. I was looking over the requirements and it said basically you need to be a Donor, and not have any infractions or bans.

Im worried because I have gotten banned once in the past and an infraction once before. The ban happened a year or two ago because I was promoting my site in a thread. The infraction happened because I posted a beta testing thread and it linked to a form where you put your name and email, and mods thought the form was to collect emails but it wasnt, the form was strictly to register an account.

Anyways, do mods make exceptions for minor bans and infractions like this? I dont want to spend $97 bucks to be a donor, and not even be able to post an item thread.

What do you guys think?

Is you infraction permanent? Some infractions have an expiry date.

If yours in perm, then try contacting an admin, only admins can reverse an infraction.

I would say PMing a mod or talking to them over IRC would do better than opening a thread for that.

Yeah, I don't see the point in asking the members, it's the mods you need to speak to not us

Im banned on the IRC and all the mods hate me over there so I doubt talking to the IRC mods will do anything
