Question about porn

Ahem. Now that I've got your attention, I just wanted to ask, does anybody know of any reliable webhosts that allow porn sites on their servers? Hostgator does...and dreamhost right? Anybody else?

do a whois on any porn site to find hosts that permit adult content.

Or just go to xbiz or ynot or cozyfrog...
All three sites have lists of web hosts that allow adult content; in fact, they provide very extensive lists of hosts that cater to adult sites only.

There is phatservers, webair, mojohost, pacificrack, theplanet and lots lots more.... I wouldn't recommend hostgator unless u take a dedicated server... well, I dunno but for everything "adult related thing" I do I need a dedicated cause the bw just goes wild (yeap, I do have lots of acls and htaccess ready for antihotlinking)

A good one I found and started to use after HostGator terminated my account is Arvixe. Cheap and adult content is allowed, plus they have the same cpanel setup as HostGator, which is what I wanted.

HostGator un-terminated me though, so I ended up dropping Arvixe. Nothing better than HostGator IMHO.

Ive been using HG's shared hosting and deidcated server for 3 years now and have never had any issues at all, I'd highly recommend them.

if I were to use another host, I'd give yellowfiber a try, the owner seems to be very knowledgeable which is surprisingly rare among hosting guys... many are just financiers who have no clue what they're selling & outsource support.

don't just go with whoever is the cheapest, and avoid anyone offering "unlimited bandwidth" etc, because they'll find a way to reneg on the offer.

Arvixe is good. They accept paypal and gift cards work too. You get instant setup and private domain registration is free as well. When you buy a domain, it gets activated in just a few minutes, even if you didn't buy from them. I usually buy my infos from gdaddy and host it on arvixe, because it takes less then 2 minutes to see it up and running. Very affordable prices and never had any issues with them so far. For control panel, they use classic Cpanel and have fantastico too.

Hg is another provider that i go with. I just don't use them for adult content. If you use houston as a code, first month is only 1 cent and also you can search on here to get other codes if you are looking for a dedicated or vps. Private domain registration is free too. If you are after tube sites and choose them for shared hosting, then i wouldn't recommend them because they will start bitching and will be pushing you for a vps or a dedicated server in no time.

1and1 has some nice offers at the moment. First three months free with 3 free domains. Private domain registration is free as well. They also have g, yahoo and msn vouchers. The problem is, they have their own control panel which is not very user friendly and little bit slow. Also domain activation takes forever sometimes. This will piss you off when you have a great idea and want to put it into action right away. Also, they DO NOT allow adult content as far as i know.

Theplanet is huge and most of the porn sites you see on the internet are using their dedicated servers. Even some famous hosting companies are actually just resellers of theplanet under a different brand name. They have good customer service and speed will not be a problem with them. I just find them a bit pricey, that's why i don't use them anymore. Other than that, they are very good.

I've never got in trouble on Freehostia.com but then again I've only had some webcam blogs.
