Question about Plimus

I am setting up my website to take payments through plimus. However, when I tested it out, I noticed that it requires paypal users to have a debit card linked to their account to take payment. Why is this happening? I have bought things from plimus before with paypal and I do not have a debit card linked to my account. Is there any way to fix this so any paypal user can buy from me without having a debit card linked?

Plimus is a complete piece of shit.

I was affiliating for plimus and they started canceling my subscribers subscriptions, at the end costing me a lot of money. Don't use them! Venture has some suggestions you should look into.
