Question about Paypal

Hey guys. I've only recently started using Paypal so I don't know much about how it works. We don't have paypal in our country so I've asked my cousin (who lives in the US) to help me out with this issue. Anyways, So let's just say that I've received an order for a service. After delivering, should I contact the buyer to mark the order as completed so that I could receive the funds in my paypal account or that amount automatically becomes available after few days? Currently, all the payments are marked as "pending" even after delivering the services. Thanks

It will automatically become available to you in a few days (max 21 days). This is because your paypal is new. I usually don't tell my buyers to mark the payment as complete because I get the money anyways (because I have many successful transactions on paypal). Though in your case I would say that either you mark the transaction as "Shipped without tracking/Delivered" or that he marks it as "Delivered/Complete". This way you will get your money much faster.

Thanks man. I guess I would rather let it process automatically I don't have any issues waiting for 21 days but contacting each buyer would be a headache
