Hi

Quick question about the forum rules for SSNs and MP: If someone sells a product/service with a fake identity that includes a SSN, is this allowed?

The rules state this:

3.3 Activity that involves Currency Trades or Exchanges (Example: Exchanging PayPal for eGold money), Buying/Selling CPA accounts, Buying/Selling Social Security Numbers or Identities

The way I see it is that you're still selling a SSN even if it only comes as part of a service. Someone could technically buy a service with a fake identity/SSN solely for the identity rather than the actual service being offered.

Thanks

Nobody? Okay...

Considering it's activity that involves buying and selling SSNs and identities, I'd say it isn't allowed.

Edit: Actually, I think rule 3.3 is only applicable to real identities.

Thanks, I thought as much.

The so-called 'expert of stealth' has since been removed from the forums (rather welcomely) so the question is a little less applicable now.

Well doesn't that mean the sale of documents in the marketplace for PayPal and such is also prohibited and so is discussions regarding stealth accounts?

Some of the rules are ostensibly up for interpretation. After re-reading @Sephrata's main post, I'm under the impression that rule 3.3 is only applicable to real identities (i.e., stolen identities) rather than fake ones, but I could be wrong.

Anyway, I'll look into contacting an administrator for clarification later.
