Question About Migration of Server

I have a friend whose friend's website is in trouble. This person hired on person to maintain his website. But when the time he asked him to give the server details, that person isn't replying to him and was telling that hse don't know how to transfer hosting so can't provide the login and password details to him..

What can he do now?

as long as you have ftp and sql account which is a hosting standard. Then site transfer would be no problem. Ask the hosting to provide login details.
