Hello,

I have started a new YT project and I have a question. Suppose I have 30 videos on my channel. Every video is 10 min long. Now can I combine and use all the video together (which will be a 300 min video) and do a live stream with that? Will this be a problem as the content will be the same?

Expecting reply from experienced people. :)

Thanks.

I havent tried that myself but I do not see what good will it do.
Usually the content that you use for live streaming and which you upload differ from each other.
So I do not think you will have any issues using those videos that way, maybe I am missing but I do not see anything good from it.

You can do that for shure, but who will watch that...
Ask yourself if you watch some video which is live and a person is not responding to the viewers. That works, but only for a few minutes.
Maybe you remember that live video from space X. Someone had that on youtube live for weeks... people thought oh there is something happening right now. Nothing happened and just views and subs were made.

sure you can do that, YouTube do not treat livestream as a regular upload and they do not check livestreams for duplicate or reused content
at any moment you can find many "Live" videos that actually offline recorded regular videos that the owners stream as livestreams using only a VPS and OBS free software
actually they can use the loop feature to stream one video with an endless loop...

You can but there's not really a point. Even if you were to do a real live stream for 30 minutes, you'd be better off ending it 15 minutes in and making 2 videos out of it. Twice the views, twice the revenue, and likely twice the watch time

Thanks for those responses guys. As far as I know youtube like live streaming. Live streaming videos get promoted easily so it can be a good way to earn subscriber. That's why I plan to do few livestreaming a month and I want that to be a long tive stream.

Thanks a lot man. So, do you think it's good idea to use suppose 1 hr video and loop that for few hours? Later, should I keep that video or unlist?

You can do that. Live streaming as you probably already know, will rapidly increase the videos rank. You might want to be careful about keeping that livestream on 24/7 as the longer it goes the more likely youtube is going to shut down the vid or shadow ban traffic, putting your account in jeopardy. (You'll most likely just get a strike tho) You should be able to pass the duplication restriction with relative ease, just don't go overboard with the live-streaming, keep it modest. If your video is black hat free though you can be a bit more lenient.

dont spend too much time with a single video, split time with your videos and you will earn more

yes , use1 hour video with an endless loop, if the content is interesting and you did a good SEO (title, tags, description etc), you will sure attract subscriber to build your channel
but do not limit yourself, if you have a good VPS let the livestream loop more, i saw channel owners that use this method for days and even weeks
after it's done, it will take a few days to render to an offline video you can set it as private just to keep the watch time within the account.

Wow. Thanks a lot man. Can you recommend any good VPS for livestream? Also, I see that you have got great service like NRV. I would like to take that service but not from reseller as I am skeptical about the quality from the resellers. Can you please give me that opportunity?

thanks, any VPS that has a good stable internet connection that is geo located in the US, about NRV don't be sceptical since our direct resellers will offer you the same service quality they get from us
