Someone wants to buy three links on one of my websites. Told him to make an offer and he said $60/year for the three links. Isn't that a bit too low? Should I take it or ask how much more? Keep in mind that my website is directly related to his product, and I am getting 6500 unique visits per month.

too low. I'm sure people will give you a evaluation. but once sold 2 links as 100$ each with 10k uniques.

It really depends, ask that person if they have an affiliate program, if they do, then just use those affiliate links to earn income from him.

If the purpose of the links, is for back-linking only to help improve serp, then $60 a year is good. I would do it, because you can add those links in different places, on your site, that people will hardly ever see or click on.

It is about an app, one is a Google Play page, another one is an Apple Itunes page, and another app page. I assume he wants home page links, that what most people would want, that's what I would want.

No affiliate links available.

A homepage link is worth way more than that bro.

Maybe $60 a month, and that's still on the cheap side.

Edit: You said 6500 uv per month. I thought you said per day.

I'd still charge him more bc your site is targeted and niche related, BUT if he's your first advertiser you might want to take it just to get the ball rolling. Once other people see they can advertise on your website you'll probably get more interested parties with better offers.

Ask a little bit more ...

Without any relevancy , in escort niche we pay even $1000/year for a seo text link .

Price totally depends of the quality of the site. $5, $7, $10, $15 per month PER LINK are common prices per month for subscription-based PBNs. Is your site more valuable to him than a good PBN? If not he won't be willing to pay more than what one would cost him. Value is only meaningful if somebody is willing to pay that amount. On the other hand his offer seems low at first glance.

Second... asking for THREE links is a bit unreasonable on his part, IMO. This makes me think he could be a "authority site" reseller and has clients waiting to pay him more.Be sure to vet the sites he wants to place to guard against spammy sites.

Yes, definitely. It is a money site, earning decent amount with Adsense and having nice rankings. I guess he's not looking for SEO links, but for exposure on a totally related website.

$20 per link-yearly sounds very low (Risk vs. reward for you). Pricing really depends on the quality of your site. How is it ranking organically for the terms he is targeting? Does your site currently have a large number of outbound links?

Top two keywords he is targeting my site ranks 10th and 9th, first one has 50k global monthly searches, second one 5k.

No outbound links on homepage.

In that case he is low balling you at a laughable level. I am assuming he wants "follow" links? If so tell him to get in touch when he can make a serious offer.

My opinion is that 60 per year is balls. I'd ask 60 per month

Just turned down the offer. If he insists I'll ask $180/year for the three links. I guess $5/month for a relevant link is more than fair.

Thanks for everyone for your opinions, much appreciated.
