The link juice/value passed on to a site, is divided by the number of OBL on that page yes? So the link would be much more powerful if there were only 10 OBL, as opposed to 30 OBL. Or is there not much difference?

For ex if that page had 0.2 link value with 5 OBL. then with 10 OBL that link value will be cut into half? i.e 0.1 or is there a threshold. Cause many providers are selling high pr links with around 30-50 OBL and would like to understand this abit more.

I'm pretty sure the math isn't that exact. For example a site wouldn't be punished for having 10 OBL instead of 5, they would still have the same value.

However when the number of OBL starts getting into the hundreds/thousands your theory comes into practice. Nobody really knows the exact maths but using common sense should be good enough. In other words as long as the number of OBL isn't 'unnatural' in google's eyes you'll be fine.

Yes the link power is dilluted. But the source PR also has lots of weight, for example, on a PR 6 page with 50 OBL each link is worth a lot more than a PR 2 page with a single link out....
