    Hi everyone

Lets just say I have a website named Iamawesomedude . (c)om and I would like to rank 1 on keywords "funny dog names" and "amazing things to do" on google. Since these 2 keywords are 2 different posting, in order to rank for both of these keywords I create backlinks on both of the Urls?

Yes, you want to create backlinks for both KW's and the structure of your site should be example.com/KW1 and example.com/KW2 both KW1 and KW2's navigation should be present on your main site example.com/. You should treat example.com/KW1 and example.com.KW2 both as separate site. So separate backlinks with right anchor text will do. Just an suggestion, rather than going 2 totally different KW on a same domain. create a subdomain and run a separate site there.
