Hi all,

when I write a Keyword in goolge he give me 10 website.

To be in that first page for that keyword, do I need more than 500 backlink to my site if the last on the page have 5000 baclinks? Or are there other stats comming in?

Dont know if u understand because have a bad english

It really all depends on the niche. There is no specific set amount of backlinks you need to rank on Google.

You cannot say if I have x backlinks I will rank y place on the search.

How do I have to do tho rank my site in first page for a keyword?

Google use more than 200 different ranking factors and there is no mathematical formula that gives you the number of backlinks required to rank on first position.

Content + Backlinks + Old Domain = First Page in Google for any keyword.

Get SEO for Firefox and check the PageRank for the sites on the first page. Anything over 2 or 3 will be hard to beat for a new site.

Take that into consideration along with the # of backlinks for the sites.

Sooo many things, Domain name/age, keyword rich content, higher quality backlinks, and so on and on.

Check out his backlinks to find out if their junk backlinks or if their actually good. Or just blast away with some software until you beat them hehe

I think you need to start out with a better understanding of how seo works. Go to google and do a search for their "seo guide" or go over to seomoz, they have a pretty good seo guide for beginners.
