Question about keyword and topics - Pet niche

Any chances to rank for these type of keywords?
Example: I want to rank for a problem of a certain race of dogs, but google answers the intent with THAT general problem but about dogs in general - these are usually the top 5, then they are followed by forums and UGC content whick answers the problem for the CERTAIN race.
Is the competition too high in this case for a fresh site?

yeah, I think you'll have a hard time ranking with a fresh site in the pets niche. The latest google update that's been released last weak has apparently targeted the pet niche in particular, awarding the more established, authoritative, known brands with top rankings, so I think you'll have a hard time ranking. If you have a fresh site then yes it will take some time, I recommend you to go first with long tail keyword with easy KD, build relevancy with the site and make blog posts with relevant content

I have the same opinion. Initially target long tail keywords having less competition.
