Not sure if I should ask this here. But I have a question about info.dat file.

I did some googling and found a plr book with sales page package I wanted ....it was an borderline warez site and I was afraid to open the file.

I explored the zipped file and found my pdf plus another 5mb file called info.dat .....I was hoping this had the salespage and graphics but I'm afraid to open it.

Anyone have any advice. Is the info.dat file full of bugs?

By the way, I did a virustotal.com scan and came up with 0, I did superantispyware, avg and malewarebytes scan on the downloaded zip file and nothing came up.

    Appreciate your thoughts :)

I have no clue....its a file that is included in the zip file. maybe it was mislabeled.....doesn't matter I'm scared to unzip the download for fear of what it might do.

Thought someone could tell me more about .dat files
