When you purchase a link building service, do you need to index the list of links that is provided to you in the report? Or are these simply links to the domains that have a backlink to your site? Thanks guys.

Maybe... They'll provide you with a list of the pages your link(s) are on. Depending on the service they might fully index for them, they might just "submit" them to be indexed.. or you might have to do it yourself. You need to clarify that ahead of time.

It depends a lot on the service, some may do it some may done. But it's not something that you necessarily want to do, you can just let them be and they will be found in time and indexed, this also depends on your site and how much you want to push it. You can come back after a month or so and if some of them are not indexed then do something about it.
